"I believe that at all times we are all doing the best we can and that our symptoms and behaviors exist for a reason: to meet needs and manage suffering. Sometimes we meet our needs in ways that work for now but cause us difficulty in the long term or have unintended or unwanted consequences. Unjust systems, biology, relationships, early childhood and life experiences also have a significant impact on our behaviors and symptoms.
I also believe that disconnection is at the root of much of our suffering and that when we can re-connect (to ourselves, one another, the world around us and a sense of purpose) then we can better navigate life's challenges.
It would be my heart's joy and honor to have the opportunity to walk side by side with you on this journey."
